Summer Conference – August 10-13, 2017

Sea Change for PAs

After a 20 year run in Palm Springs, CAPA is moving its largest yearly conference to the Sheraton Hotel and Marina in San Diego. August in San Diego is absolutely beautiful with perfect weather, including beautiful sunny mornings.

The Sheraton Hotel and Marina is less than a mile from the San Diego airport. Flying into San Diego is usually inexpensive with frequent flights offered by many airlines. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Room rates on the water in San Diego often come with a high price. CAPA was able to negotiate an amazing $194 per night rate, with no resort fee for CAPA attendees! You will want to reserve your room early. The CAPA reduced rate block will surely sell out.

At CAPA, we are all about PAs and all about providing you with the most valuable and unique learning experience. We have developed an excellent educational program presented by dynamic speakers. More than that, this CAPA Conference will be an incredible experience in and of itself. Each of you bring something special to the conference.

Optional Workshops

CAPA’s optional hands-on workshops are always a conference favorite! Workshops are held on Thursday and Saturday during the CAPA Conference. Back again is Dr. Yoshida’s Orthopedic Exam Workshops and the Comprehensive Slit Lamp Examination with Dr. Judy Tong. Also, brand new this year is Pain Management: Interactive Role Playing With Challenging Cases with PA Jeremy Adler. There are more great hands on workshops available that you won’t want to miss! Space is limited so you will want to register early!

Workshop Descriptions

You all make it powerful and we at CAPA have a great time creating events and opportunities so you have the ultimate PA experience while learning a lot, hanging out with friends and colleagues and enjoying beautiful San Diego. It doesn’t get much better than that.
