Do you personally know a California Assemblyperson or Senator?

If so, we would love to hear from you! Maybe your Assemblyperson is your patient or neighbor? Maybe your sister’s roommate’s mother is a Senator? If you know someone in an elected position on a personal level, we want to hear about it. Your relationship with a legislator may mean the deciding vote in a hearing for a bill that changes the law for physician assistants. The CAPA Government Affairs Committee may never have to contact you, but wouldn’t you like to help out if it just meant a phone call to a friend? Too often, it is hard to get our message to legislators because they don’t know who we are (and many don’t even know what a PA is!). But, you could help us get a foot in the door if you know an Assemblyperson or Senator in the state.
