With the permission of his family, CAPA would like to share that Lester (Les) Eugene Waldron, who was part of the founding Members of CAPA and served for some time on the board, passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 96.5.

According to his daughter Pam, "He graduated from the second Physician Assistant class ever in the country at the University of Washington Medical School. It was then known as Medix. He was very proud of his career as a Physician Assistant and his membership in the CAPA...he was a member until he turned 93."
