Hand Hygiene PI-CME
There is one issue that transcends nearly all aspects of patient care: hand hygiene. Hand hygiene is on the front line against the spread of disease and should be practiced by everyone in medicine!
This PI-CME activity is for any PA who participates in inpatient care. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 20.00 AAPA Category 1 PI-CME credits.
Hand Hygiene in the Health Care Setting provides you with:
- A pre-assessment questionnaire that will demonstrate your current workplace compliance toward hand hygiene.
- Educational resources that will guide you to correct any demonstrated areas of weakness.
- A post-assessment questionnaire to evaluate your success in improving hand hygiene practices.
This CME is designed to take 3-4 months, based on provider-specific working environments. Since hand hygiene is such an important component of any patient care environment, Hand Hygiene in the Health Care Setting may be used over and over again to constantly improve compliance and save lives.
